CHARTING A CREATIVE JOURNEY

I am a multifaceted talent with over two decades of experience in the film and video industry as a director, writer, photographer, and editor. Raised in Miami, Florida, my artistic journey began at the age of 11 when I enrolled in art schools. I graduated high school with an Associates of Arts in Architecture, later acquiring an associate of Science in Film and Video. My skills and passion led me to Los Angeles in 2002, where I contributed to various independent films in roles such as set photographer, Production Assistant, and 2nd Assistant Camera.

Upon returning to Central Florida, I joined Crawford Entertainment, climbing the ranks from full-time editor to Post Production Supervisor. I eventually transitioned to producing and directing short form and broadcast content. One notable achievement was my work on “How to Do Florida,” where I wrote and produced several episodes, including the standout “Deadheads.” My prowess extended to historical re-enactments and motion graphics, particularly in “The Lost Treasure Fleet of 1715,” showcasing my expertise in prop making and visual effects.

In 2015, I founded Story Launch and collaborated with the executive producer of Music Voyager. My editing prowess earned awards for an episode about Bahamian musicians, leading to opportunities for directing shows around the globe. Over the next four years, I directed, photographed, and edited episodes in Morocco, Peru, Antigua & Barbuda, the Bahamas, Italy, Germany, and various U.S. cities. In 2019, I directed, photographed, and edited the acclaimed series “Taste,” exploring Atlanta’s dynamic food scene, one of the featured restaurants earning a prestigious Michelin Star award as of 2023.

My artistic journey continued in 2022 with a deep dive into the NFT space in Atlanta, resulting in a 6-part docu-series currently in the final stages of post-production. Simultaneously, I rekindled my love for photography, honed over 30 years, capturing images from my global travels and personal projects in the western United States. In 2024, I expanded my creative horizons, merging writing and illustration in my first children’s book, introducing the world to Gamut the Chameleon, the central character in the Gamut Learns children’s book series. Through my diverse talents, I thrive on captivating audiences with visual storytelling and my artistic endeavors.
